Mr. Spasov is a Principal and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include pursuing strategic initiatives for the firm, deal origination and transaction structuring, and investor relations. Prior to joining Marlin, Mr. Spasov was at Northrop Grumman Corporation where he was a Senior Investments Specialist of the Investment and Trust Department, which manages over $30 billion in assets. While at Northrop Grumman, Mr. Spasov was primarily involved in private equity and real estate fund investing where he focused on strategic and tactical planning, due diligence and portfolio management, and he also served as a voting member for the approval of new investments. Mr. Spasov earned a B.A. in Economics-Accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Mr. Spasov currently serves as Vice President of the Southern California Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association.
