David McGovern

David McGovern is the Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Marlin Equity Partners, a global investment firm he established in 2005, and serves as the Chairman of the firm’s Executive and Investment Committees. He is actively involved in directing, promoting and overseeing Marlin’s strategic vision, ensuring adherence to the firm’s core investment principles and firm governance, and providing insight and guidance on all investment and portfolio related decisions.

Mr. McGovern has been a private equity investor since 1999 and has significant expertise in the M&A process, corporate strategy, turnarounds, acquisition integration and realizations through sales, public offerings and recapitalizations. Marlin’s investment philosophy centers around a fundamental set of principles focused on partnering with management to execute strategies for long-term value creation. Since Marlin’s inception, Mr. McGovern and the Marlin investment team have successfully initiated and executed a model of investing that seeks to provide flexible solutions to businesses that can benefit from the firm’s strong capital base, deep industry relationships and extensive network of operational resources.

Prior to his private equity career, Mr. McGovern was a senior investment banker at CIBC and an attorney at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He earned a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was an editor of The Georgetown Law Journal (law review), and a B.S. in Finance with Beta Gamma Sigma honors from Louisiana State University.

Nick Kaiser

Mr. Kaiser is a Co-Founder and Senior Managing Director of Marlin Equity Partners where he is engaged in all aspects of managing the firm, including the oversight of all investment related activities and decisions. He helped to establish Marlin with David McGovern in 2005 and has worked closely with Mr. McGovern as a private equity investor since 2000. As a member of the firm’s Executive and Investment Committees, Mr. Kaiser is responsible for developing and pursuing strategic initiatives, originating and qualifying investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, executing transactions, and directing portfolio construction and management. His transaction experience includes numerous enterprise software acquisitions, take-privates, corporate divestitures and growth equity investments. Mr. Kaiser earned a B.A. in Economics-Mathematics, with honors, from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Peter Spasov

Mr. Spasov is Senior Managing Director of Marlin Equity Partners where he is engaged in all aspects of managing the firm, including the oversight of all investment related activities and decisions. As a member of the firm’s Executive and Investment Committees, Mr. Spasov is responsible for developing and pursuing strategic initiatives, originating and qualifying investment opportunities, structuring transactions, overseeing investments, setting and implementing investment policy, directing portfolio construction and management, and overseeing the firm’s operations. Mr. Spasov has over 20 years of broad-based institutional investment and private equity experience, and prior to joining Marlin in 2005, he was at Northrop Grumman, which manages over $30 billion in investments, where he was primarily responsible for private equity and real estate investing. Mr. Spasov earned a B.A. in Economics-Accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara and previously was the President of the Southern California Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association. He also currently serves as an active board member for numerous Marlin portfolio companies.

Alex Beregovsky

Mr. Beregovsky is a Managing Director and member of the flagship fund Investment Committee. His primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Vector Capital, where he focused on identifying and executing investments across the software, internet and tech-enabled services sectors. Prior thereto, Mr. Beregovsky was an investment professional at Viking Global Investors, a long/short equity fund, and previous to that, at Francisco Partners, where he specialized in technology buyouts. He began his career as a quantitative consultant at Goldman Sachs and an investment banker at Banc of America Securities in the Financial Institutions Group. Mr. Beregovsky earned an M.B.A from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar and a B.A. in mathematics, economics and computer science from New York University, where he graduated summa cum laude.

Peter Chung

Mr. Chung is a Managing Director and member of the flagship fund Investment Committee. His primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin in 2008, he worked at Banc of America Securities where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and other strategic advisory initiatives. Prior thereto, Mr. Chung worked at SG Cowen. He earned a B.S. in Engineering Management Systems from Columbia University.

Jan-Olivier Fillols

Mr. Fillols is a Managing Director and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at 3i Group where he focused on private equity investments across a broad range of sectors and geographies. Prior thereto, he worked as an investment banker at Jefferies where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions and public market transactions. Before his career in finance, Mr. Fillols held software development positions at diagnostics company Roche and telecoms provider Ascom. He earned a M.Sc. in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics and a M.Sc. in Communication Systems from the Swiss Institute of Technology (EPFL).

Hemal Patel

Mr. Patel is a Managing Director and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and support and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Parthenon Capital Partners where he focused on identifying and executing investments across the software, business services and financial services verticals and supporting existing portfolio investments. Prior thereto, Mr. Patel worked at Deutsche Bank Securities in the Technology Investment Banking Group, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings and other strategic advisory initiatives. Mr. Patel earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the John Cook School of Business at Saint Louis University.

Roland Pezzutto

Mr. Pezzutto’s is a Managing Director and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Investcorp where he focused on private equity investments, including carve-outs, leveraged buyouts, add-on acquisitions and exits across a broad range of sectors and geographies.  Prior thereto, Mr. Pezzutto worked as an investment banker at Deutsche Bank where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions and public market transactions. He earned an M.Sc. in International Business from HEC School of Management in Paris, France and a B.A. in Law from Università Cattolica in Milan, Italy.

Nathan Pingelton

Mr. Pingelton is a Managing Director and member of the flagship fund Investment Committee.  His primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio monitoring. Before joining Marlin’s investment team, he served as a Director of Financial Due Diligence within Marlin’s Operations Group. Prior thereto, Mr. Pingelton worked at KPMG in the Transaction Services Practice and Assurance Practice. During that time, he advised clients on transactions in a broad spectrum of industries including basic materials, healthcare and consumer goods. He earned a B.B.A. and Masters of Accountancy from the University of Oklahoma.

Mike Wilkinson

Mr. Wilkinson is a Managing Director and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and support and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Deloitte in the Transaction Services department, where he specialized in providing financial due diligence to private equity and corporate clients. Mr. Wilkinson earned an M.A. in Economics from the University of Edinburgh.

Ryan Laurin

Mr. Laurin is a Managing Director and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal origination and qualification. Prior to joining Marlin in 2007, he worked at Harvey & Company, an Orange County-based merchant bank. While at Harvey, Mr. Laurin originated and evaluated investment opportunities for middle-market private equity funds and strategic buyers. He earned a B.A. in International Studies from the University of California, Irvine where he graduated cum laude.

Evan Smith

Mr. Smith is a Managing Director and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal origination and qualification. Prior to joining Marlin in 2010, he worked at Harvey & Company, an Orange County-based merchant bank. While at Harvey, Mr. Smith originated and evaluated investment opportunities for middle-market private equity funds and strategic buyers. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

Konstantin von Bismarck

Mr. von Bismarck is a Principal and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and support and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at BC Partners where he focused on technology, healthcare, media, and retail investments. Mr. von Bismarck earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, an M.P.P. from the Harvard Kennedy School and a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University.

Christopher Clasper

Mr. Clasper is a Principal and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and support and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Terra Firma Capital Partners and Deloitte’s Management Consultancy business in London. Mr. Clasper earned a B.S. in History from Oxford University, where he graduated with First Class Honors.

Robert Culp

Mr. Culp is a Principal and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and support and portfolio monitoring.  Prior to joining Marlin, he worked in the private equity groups at The Carlyle Group and Platinum Equity, where he focused on investments across the software, business services and financial technology sectors. He began his career in investment banking with Credit Suisse.  Mr. Culp holds a B.B.A. in Finance from University of Georgia, where he graduated magna cum laude, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Marlo Goldstein

Ms. Goldstein is a Principal and her primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and support and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin, she worked at Bain & Company as a management consultant.  Ms. Goldstein earned an M.B.A from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Systems Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Bill Hurley

Mr. Hurley is a Principal and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and support and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Great Hill Partners where he focused on originating, evaluating and managing investments across the software, business services and financial technology verticals, and supporting existing portfolio investments. Prior thereto, he worked at UBS Investment Bank in the Media and Communications Group, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and other strategic advisory initiatives.   Mr. Hurley earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Finance from Babson College.

Jason Kwon

Mr. Kwon is a Principal and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and support and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Sony Pictures Entertainment in the Corporate Development Group. Prior thereto, Mr. Kwon worked at Houlihan Lokey in the Media & Telecom Group where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, debt financings and other strategic advisory initiatives. He earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Irvine, where he graduated summa cum laude.

Walter Mair

Mr. Mair is a Principal and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and support and portfolio monitoring.  Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Boston Consulting Group where he worked in the private equity and corporate development groups, and specialized in commercial buy and sell-side due diligence and portfolio projects across a number of industries including consumer, insurance, banking, industrial goods and Technology, Media & Telecom. Mr. Mair earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Cambridge and Master’s degrees in Public Policy at the London School of Economics and the University of Chicago, where he was a Fulbright Scholar.

Natasha Mann

Ms. Mann is a Principal and her primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and support and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin, she worked at TSG Consumer Partners and, prior thereto, at TPG Growth, where she specialized in leveraged buyouts and growth equity investments across the consumer, technology and telecom sectors. Previously, Ms. Mann worked at Deutsche Bank in the Technology, Media & Telecom Group where she focused on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and other strategic advisory initiatives. Ms. Mann earned a B.S. in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance, Accounting, and Business Economics and Public Policy from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.

Jeremy Nakache

Mr. Nakache is a Principal and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at 3i in Paris, where he focused on identifying and executing investments in middle-market European buyouts, including platform and add-on acquisitions across the tech-enabled business services and healthcare industries. Prior thereto, Mr. Nakache worked as an investment banker at Citigroup and HSBC, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, and as an investment professional at UI Gestion. Mr. Nakache earned an M.Sc. in Finance from ESSEC Business School in Paris.

Kieran Rafter

Mr. Rafter is a Principal and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and support and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Barclays in the investment banking division where he focused on mergers and acquisitions across a range of sectors, including technology, industrials, financial services and infrastructure. Before his career in finance, Mr. Rafter worked as a corporate lawyer at Addleshaw Goddard LLP where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and debt finance transactions. He earned a B.A. in Politics from The University of Nottingham and has completed postgraduate programs at BPP University Law School in London.

Grant Schachter

Mr. Schachter is a Principal and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and support and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin in 2010, he worked at Houlihan Lokey where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings and other strategic advisory initiatives. Bryan Yasukochi

Mr. Yasukochi is a Principal and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and support and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Credit Suisse where he focused on the execution of debt and equity transactions for companies across a broad range of industries. Max Bissegger

Mr. Bissegger is a Principal and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal origination and qualification. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Raytheon Company as a member of Raytheon’s Leadership Development Program where he specialized in program execution, financial planning and analysis, and internal audit. Mr. Bissegger earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

Daniel Cole

Mr. Cole is a Principal and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal origination and qualification. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Platinum Equity, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm, as a member of the firm’s business development group based out of London. While at Platinum, Mr. Cole originated and evaluated middle-market investment opportunities throughout Europe. Prior thereto he attended Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and served as an officer in the British Army. Mr. Cole earned an M.A. in Architectural History from the University of Edinburgh.

David Feiner

Mr. Feiner is a Principal and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal origination and qualification. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Natixis Partners where he focused on advising entrepreneurs, private equity funds and corporates in leveraged buyouts and mergers and acquisitions transactions across a broad range of sectors, including technology, healthcare, and consumer goods. Prior thereto, he worked at Ernst & Young within the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications department. Mr. Feiner earned an M.Sc. in Management from Emlyon Business School.

Wolfgang Mayrhofer

Mr. Mayrhofer is a Principal and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal origination and qualification. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Skillcapital where he focused on deal origination, transaction advisory and executive search for global large-cap private equity firms. Prior thereto, Mr. Mayrhofer worked at IMAP, International M&A Partners, and at Heidrick & Struggles. Max Becker

Paul Gaillard

George Doran

Joe Hara

Mr. Hara’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and support and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at William Blair & Company where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and other strategic advisory initiatives across the healthcare technology and healthcare services industries. Aaron Lewis

Mr. Lewis’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and support and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Harvest Partners where he focused on identifying and executing investments across the healthcare, business services, industrial services and consumer sectors. Ranieri Paternò

Mr. Paternò’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and support and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at RBC Capital Markets in the Consumer Group where he focused on sponsor-related transactions including leveraged buyouts and debt financings across a variety of verticals. Mr. Paternò earned an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a B.S. in Mathematics and Economics from Exeter University.

Doug Swift

Mr. Swift’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and support and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at J.P. Morgan Cazenove in the U.K., focusing on mergers and acquisitions execution across a range of sectors including technology, financial services and retail, and prior thereto as a member of J.P. Morgan’s mergers and acquisitions execution team in New York. Mr. Swift earned a B.A. in Economics and European History from the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated magna cum laude.

AJ Singh

Mr. Singh’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal origination and qualification. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Next47, a Siemens venture capital firm, where he focused on value creation initiatives for Next47 portfolio companies. Prior thereto, Mr. Singh worked at Discovia, where he focused on corporate strategy. He began his career at J.P. Morgan structuring tax credit equity investments. Mr. Singh earned his MBA from Duke University and his B.A. in Economics from Boston University.

Ryan Allen

Mr. Allen’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Deutsche Bank where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions across various technology sectors including software, semiconductors and telecommunications. Mr. Allen earned a B.A. in Economics with a Minor in Accounting from the University of California, Los Angeles where he graduated cum laude.

Julien Burez

Mr. Burez’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Houlihan Lokey in the Business Services team, where he primarily focused on Mergers and Acquisitions across Europe. Ben Rosenberg

Mr. Rosenberg’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Stifel in the firm’s Global Technology Investment Banking Group, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financings and other strategic advisory initiatives across the technology sector, with a focus on software and tech-enabled services. Mr. Rosenberg earned a B.A. in Economics with Honors from the University of Pennsylvania and minored in Cognitive Science and Philosophy.

Eoghan Turley

Mr. Turley’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Lazard in London, where he primarily focused on mergers and acquisitions across the technology sector. Mr. Turley earned a B.A. in Business and Economics from Trinity College Dublin, where he graduated with a first-class honors degree.

Pauline Bleuse

Ms. Bleuse’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, she worked at BCG in Paris where she supported private equity clients across a range of industry verticals. Ms. Bleuse earned her Masters in International Finance from HEC Paris, following a preparatory class in France.

Evan Brindley

Mr. Brindley’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at JMP Securities in San Francisco where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and private capital raises for companies in the technology sector. Mr. Brindley earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the Honors College at The University of Alabama and an M.B.A. from Arizona State University where he graduated with honors.

James Burns

Mr. Burns’ primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at H.I.G. Capital in San Francisco where he focused on investments across numerous sectors. Prior to H.I.G., he worked at SVB Leerink Healthcare Investment Banking and Bank of America Merrill Lynch Debt Capital Markets. Mr. Burns earned a B.S. in both Accounting and Economics from Lehigh University where he graduated with honors.

Sahib Gill

Julian Kolesch

Mr. Kolesch’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked in Roland Berger’s Investor Support team in London, focusing on commercial due diligences for buy- and sell-side clients across industries. Prior thereto, he was part of Roland Berger’s Restructuring team in Berlin. Mr. Kolesch earned an M.Sc. in Management from HEC Paris and a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Munich.

Mark McGovern

Austin Longerbeam

Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Perella Weinberg Partners in San Francisco and New York, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions for software and internet companies. Stephen Sims

Raizel Yu

Ms. Yu’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support and conducting due diligence. Prior to Marlin, she worked at Credit Suisse’s Los Angeles office where she worked across financial sponsors and real estate, gaming and lodging. Ms. Yu earned her B.A. in Economics and M.A. in Finance from Claremont McKenna College where she graduated cum laude.

Garrett Zogby

Mr. Zogby’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Lazard in Chicago where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and coverage of clients across the power, energy, infrastructure and industrial sectors. Mr. Zogby earned a B.A. from Dartmouth College, majoring in both Economics and Environmental Studies.

Kincaid Hoffman

Mr. Hoffman’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal origination and qualification. Prior to joining Marlin, he was a management and technology consultant for Slalom Consulting LLC where he worked on client engagements that centered around corporate strategy, technology enablement and software development. Mr. Hoffman earned a B.A. in Economics from Whitman College.

Camilla Gaetani

Ms. Gaetani’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal origination and qualification, transaction support and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, she worked at UBS in the TMT team where she covered a range of sub-verticals across the EMEA region. Ms. Gaetani earned an M.Sc. in Finance and a B.Sc. in International Economics and Management from Bocconi University.

David Correa

Mr. Correa is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Marlin. His primary responsibilities include overseeing the financial, regulatory compliance and administrative functions of the Marlin funds and related entities.

Mr. Correa has over 25 years of experience in finance, accounting, tax, operations, risk management and SEC regulatory compliance. Prior to joining Marlin, he spent over 15 years at H.I.G. Capital, where he most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer of the firm’s U.S. and Latin American buyout funds and venture capital funds. Prior to joining H.I.G., he served as the Director of Corporate Taxation at Perry Ellis International and, prior thereto, began his career in the tax practice at Deloitte & Touche. Mr. Correa received his B.S. and M.S. in Accounting and Accounting & Taxation, respectively, from the University of Florida, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Dianna D’Amore

Ms. D’Amore’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include investor relations support, limited partner communications, institutional fundraising and marketing activities for the firm. Prior to joining Marlin, she was the Director of Investor Relations at The Chernin Group. There, she established and developed the firm’s investor relations department with an emphasis on relationship management, investor communication, and capital formation initiatives. Prior thereto, Ms. D’Amore served as a founding member of the Investor Relations and Client Services department at Clearlake Capital Group. During her tenure, she concentrated on investor relations, marketing, and fundraising activities for a variety of fund strategies. Before Clearlake, she held roles in the Marketing and Investor Relations department at BlueMountain Capital Management and in the Client Advisory Group at York Capital Management. Ms. D’Amore earned her B.S. in Biology with concentrations in Pre-Medical Sciences and Chemistry from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

Gurbani Singh

Ms. Singh’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include investor relations support, limited partner communications, institutional fundraising and marketing activities for the firm. Prior to joining Marlin, she worked at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey in the Syndicated & Leveraged Finance Group, where she executed Leveraged Loan and High Yield Bond financing transactions for leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions and refinancings in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications sector. Prior thereto, Ms. Singh worked in the Equity Capital Markets Group at SunTrust across various industry verticals. Ms. Singh earned her B.B.A. in Finance and Information Systems Operations Management from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.

Jivisha Chouksey

Ms. Chouksey’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include investor relations support, limited partner communications, institutional fundraising and marketing activities for the firm. Prior to joining Marlin, she worked at J.P. Morgan in the Investment Banking Credit Group, where she executed several renewal and leverage financed transactions for financial institutions, specifically banks and broker-dealers. Mr. Richards has over 19 years of international experience in transactions, turnarounds and performance improvement. Previously, Mr. Richards was a partner in the transactions group at Ernst & Young, most recently serving as the head of working capital services for the Americas, where he advised private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on value creation strategies throughout the investment lifecycle. Prior thereto, he was Vice President of Strategy & Business Development at Axon Group plc, a global technology advisory and outsourcing firm, first in Europe and later as a founding member of the Americas business unit, which he helped to grow from launch to $250 million in five years, until its acquisition by HCL in 2008. During his tenure at Axon, Mr. Richards led geographic expansion and sector growth initiatives, conducted acquisition diligence and integration activities, and oversaw transformation programs for clients worldwide.  Mr. Richards earned a B.Sc. honors degree from Bristol University and an M.B.A with distinction from Columbia Business School.

Mr. Dal Degan has over 30 years of experience as an executive at leading technology companies, including 11 years as an executive at Salesforce. He formerly served as CEO of SpringCM, a provider of contract lifecycle management solutions which was acquired by Docusign. Prior thereto, Mr. Dal Degan played a key role at Salesforce where he contributed to growing the company from fewer than 150 employees and less than $50 million in annual revenue, to over 12,000 employees, $4 billion in annual revenue and over 150,000 customers. Additionally, he has held leadership positions numerous software companies, including Oracle, Siebel Systems, Sybase, Ensighten and Synchrony. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors for a number of B2B cloud software companies, including Saleshood and Samanage. Mr. Elsberg has over 30 years of experience in the software, technology and tech-enabled services industries. Previously, he served as CEO of Bluegarden A/S, an exited Marlin portfolio company and leading Scandinavian provider of human capital management software solutions and services. Prior to Bluegarden, he served as the CEO of e-conomic A/S, a cloud-based bookkeeping solution for small businesses and, prior thereto, served as CEO of GN Netcom, a global headset manufacturer of the Jabra brand. In addition, Mr. Elsberg co-founded Pensio (now Altapay), an e-commerce payments management company which was successfully sold to Valitor.  He has also held senior leadership roles at Microsoft Dynamics, IBM and Aston Group. Mr. Elsberg holds a M.Sc. in Engineering from Technical University of Denmark and a B.Sc. in Marketing from Copenhagen Business School.

Previously, he was a Managing Partner at MKA Capital LLC, an investment company focused on technology investments. Prior thereto, Mr. Klayko served as CEO of Brocade where he helped grow revenues from less than $500 million to over $2.2 billion during his tenure. Additionally, he has held leadership positions at leading technology companies including Rhapsody Networks, McDATA Corporation, EMC Corporation, Hewlett Packard and IBM. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Allscripts (NASDAQ: MDRX) and is an active board member of TIBCO, Egnyte and Cyrus One (NASDAQ: CONE). Previously, he served as EVP & General Manager of Software and Cloud at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where he spearheaded HP’s new cloud strategy (HPE Helion) and led the spin-off of HP’s $8.5 billion non-core software business to Microfocus. Prior thereto, Mr. Youngjohns was President of Microsoft North America where he was responsible for sales, marketing and services totaling $25.0 billion of revenue across all product lines and channels in the United States and Canada. Additionally, he has held key executive management positions at leading technology companies including Callidus Software, Sun Microsystems and IBM. Mr. Youngjohns earned his M.A. in Physics and Philosophy from Oxford University.

Previously, he served as VP Sales & Services Strategy and Operations at RingCentral, where he led the buildout of significant go-to-market functions and served as a key member of the leadership team that grew the company from a $350 million to $1 billion ARR run-rate and achieved a ten-fold stock return during his tenure. Prior thereto, Mr. Gandhi served as VP Global Sales Strategy at Salesforce and VP Customer Success (Enterprise) at Lattice Engines. Additionally, he has held management roles at leading consulting firms, including McKinsey, Bain and The Alexander Group. James Markarian*

Mr. Markarian is the Chief Technology Officer in Marlin Operations Group, Inc., focused on product and technology due diligence and supporting related initiatives at portfolio companies. He has over 30 years of experience in the software industry. Most recently, he was Chief Technology Officer and Chief Strategy Officer of Snaplogic, where he led a mix of technology and go-to-market efforts. Prior to Snaplogic, Mr. Markarian was Chief Technology Officer and General Manager of the integration business at Informatica and helped the company grow revenues from $10 million to over $1 billion.  He was also responsible for Informatica’s M&A, India operations and every shared technology function. Additionally, he has worked in Venture Capital at Khosla Ventures and been an investor in and advisor to numerous Silicon Valley companies. Mr. Markarian earned his B.A. in Computer Science and Economics and an M.A. in Economics from Boston University.

Previously, Mr. Buckley was a Partner at Apollo Realty Advisors, a leading private equity firm which has invested over $13 billion across more than 570 transactions worldwide, where he was responsible for business development, acquisitions and negotiating joint venture equity partnerships.  Prior thereto, he was a Managing Director and shareholder of Ramsey-Shilling Commercial Real Estate Services, a boutique real estate firm in the greater Hollywood submarket of Los Angeles, where he participated in over $1 billion in closed transactions across all property types.  Mr. Buckley earned a B.S. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and is a current member of the Urban Land Institute.

Yew Khor*

Mr. Khor is a Director in Marlin Operations Group, Inc., focused on assisting in operational due diligence and providing operational support to portfolio companies. Previously, Mr. Khor served as a member of the deal execution team for Marlin’s flagship private equity funds where his responsibilities included providing transaction support, transaction execution and conducting due diligence. Prior thereto, he worked at Jefferies & Company in the Technology and Clean Technology groups where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions and other strategic advisory initiatives. He earned a B.S. in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.

Liam Symington*

Mr. Symington is a London-based Director in Marlin Operations Group, Inc., focused on providing operational and financial support to European portfolio companies. Prior to joining Marlin, Mr. Symington served as an Associate Director in the restructuring practice at KPMG, where he delivered performance transformation programs for clients across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. While at KPMG he also gained extensive experience in U.K. debt restructurings. Mr. Symington earned a B.A. in Accounting and Finance at Newcastle University and is an ACA Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.

Monica Tomasulo*

Mrs. Tomasulo is a Director in Marlin Operations Group, Inc., focused on procurement and strategic sourcing initiatives across the portfolio companies globally. Mrs. Tomasulo has over 10 years of operations experience including process improvement, quality assurance, change management and value creation in service companies.  Mrs. Tomasulo earned her B.A. in Communications with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Oregon and has completed continued education through the Institute of Supply Chain Management.

John Zink*

Mr. Zink is a Director in Marlin Operations Group, Inc., focused on operational due diligence and providing operational support to portfolio companies. Prior to joining Marlin, Mr. Zink was a Director at Vista Consulting Group, where he led numerous value creation programs in his role as business transformation lead for Vista’s flagship fund. Prior thereto, he was head of Marketplace and Strategic Planning at Raise Marketplace, an e-commerce platform. Earlier in his career he was at Deloitte where he led merger integration and performance improvement programs for technology, services and media clients. Mr. Zink earned his B.S. in Entrepreneurship and Management at Indiana University and his MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas.

Cliff Hawkins*

Mr. Hawkins is an Associate Director in Marlin Operations Group, Inc., focused on operational due diligence and providing operational support to portfolio companies.  He has over 15 years of financial and operational experience focused on driving growth for B2B software companies. Prior to joining Marlin, Mr. Hawkins was the Director of Sales, Strategy and Analytics at Carta, a financial technology software company where he scaled the go-to-market organization and led cross-functional strategic initiatives to accelerate productivity and growth. Prior thereto, he served in various marketing, sales, business strategy and operations leadership roles at Medallia.   Mr. Hawkins earned his B.S. in Economics and Accounting from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

Az Virji*

Mr. Virji is the General Counsel in Marlin Operations Group, Inc. His primary responsibilities include overseeing all legal matters related to the Marlin funds and their portfolio companies.

Previously, Mr. Virji was a founding associate of the Los Angeles office of Cooley LLP where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, venture financings and general corporate representation.  Prior thereto, he was an associate with Sullivan & Cromwell LLP where his practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and leveraged finance.  Mr. Virji earned a J.D. from UCLA School of Law and a B.A. from University of California, Los Angeles.

Jonny Musker*

Mr. Musker is a London-based General Counsel – Europe in Marlin Operations Group, Inc., focused on providing legal and compliance support for European M&A efforts and portfolio companies. Previously, Mr. Musker worked at Mayer Brown International LLP as a corporate lawyer where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, joint venture transactions and general corporate representation in the technology, software, industrials and real estate sectors. Mr. Musker earned an LL.B. from the University of Newcastle.

Jason Connors*

Mr. Connors is a Global Information Technology Director in Marlin Operations Group, Inc., focused on overseeing global information technology and cyber security operations.

Mr. Connors has over 10 years of experience managing and developing the information technology functions in various industries, including financial services, manufacturing and higher education.  Previously, he worked for an aerospace manufacturing company, where he focused on business process improvement and technical strategy.  Prior thereto, Mr. Connors served as a technology director at the University of Wisconsin Stout, where he led the student technical assistance and resources (STAR) program and was the primary liaison between full-time and student staffed technical resources. Mr. Connors earned a B.S. in Marketing and Business Education with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin Stout (Wisconsin’s Polytechnic University).

Allison Kuziw*

Mrs. Kuziw is Global Human Resources Director in Marlin Operations Group, Inc., focused on providing human resources support and driving HR/talent-related initiatives globally. Previously, she worked at Lloyd Group as a Human Resources Manager, where she helped establish a HR department and directed all HR activities for the New York and New Jersey offices. During Mrs. Kuziw’s tenure as department lead, the company was ranked as the 35th Best Place to Work in NYC by Crain’s New York Business.  Prior thereto, Mrs. Kuziw worked at Lenox Advisors as a Human Resource Generalist. Mrs. Kuziw earned a B.S. from Northeastern University and a Master of Science in Human Resource Management and Development from New York University. She is currently a member of The Society for Human Resource Management.
