
David McGovern
David McGovern is the Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Marlin Equity Partners, a global investment firm he established in 2005, and serves as the Chairman of the firm’s Executive and Investment Committees. He is actively involved in directing, promoting and overseeing Marlin’s strategic vision, ensuring adherence to the firm’s core investment principles and firm governance, and providing insight and guidance on all investment and portfolio related decisions.
Mr. McGovern has been a private equity investor since 1999 and has significant expertise in the M&A process, corporate strategy, turnarounds, acquisition integration and realizations through sales, public offerings and recapitalizations. Marlin’s investment philosophy centers around a fundamental set of principles focused on partnering with management to execute strategies for long-term value creation. Since Marlin’s inception, Mr. McGovern and the Marlin investment team have successfully initiated and executed a model of investing that seeks to provide flexible solutions to businesses that can benefit from the firm’s strong capital base, deep industry relationships and extensive network of operational resources.
Prior to his private equity career, Mr. McGovern was a senior investment banker at CIBC and an attorney at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He earned a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was an editor of The Georgetown Law Journal (law review), and a B.S. in Finance with Beta Gamma Sigma honors from Louisiana State University.

Nick Kaiser
Mr. Kaiser is a Co-Founder and Senior Managing Director of Marlin Equity Partners where he is engaged in all aspects of managing the firm, including the oversight of all investment related activities and decisions. He helped to establish Marlin with David McGovern in 2005 and has worked closely with Mr. McGovern as a private equity investor since 2000. As a member of the firm’s Executive and Investment Committees, Mr. Kaiser is responsible for developing and pursuing strategic initiatives, originating and qualifying investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, executing transactions, and directing portfolio construction and management. His transaction experience includes numerous enterprise software acquisitions, take-privates, corporate divestitures and growth equity investments. Mr. Kaiser earned a B.A. in Economics-Mathematics, with honors, from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Peter Spasov
Mr. Spasov is Senior Managing Director of Marlin Equity Partners where he is engaged in all aspects of managing the firm, including the oversight of all investment related activities and decisions. As a member of the firm’s Executive and Investment Committees, Mr. Spasov is responsible for developing and pursuing strategic initiatives, originating and qualifying investment opportunities, structuring transactions, overseeing investments, setting and implementing investment policy, directing portfolio construction and management, and overseeing the firm’s operations. Mr. Spasov has over 20 years of broad-based institutional investment and private equity experience, and prior to joining Marlin in 2005, he was at Northrop Grumman, which manages over $30 billion in investments, where he was primarily responsible for private equity and real estate investing. Mr. Spasov earned a B.A. in Economics-Accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara and previously was the President of the Southern California Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association. He also currently serves as an active board member for numerous Marlin portfolio companies.

Michael Anderson
Mr. Anderson is a Managing Director and member of the flagship fund Investment Committee. His primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Kohlberg & Company where he engaged in the execution of a range of investments covering corporate divestitures, operational restructurings and management buyouts. Prior thereto, Mr. Anderson worked at Harris Williams & Co. where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic advisory initiatives. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.

Alex Beregovsky
Mr. Beregovsky is a Managing Director and is actively engaged in the flagship fund Investment Committee. His primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Vector Capital, where he focused on identifying and executing investments across the software, internet and tech-enabled services sectors. Prior thereto, Mr. Beregovsky was an investment professional at Viking Global Investors, a long/short equity fund, and previous to that, at Francisco Partners, where he specialized in technology buyouts. He began his career as a quantitative consultant at Goldman Sachs and an investment banker at Banc of America Securities in the Financial Institutions Group. Mr. Beregovsky earned an M.B.A from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar and a B.A. in mathematics, economics and computer science from New York University, where he graduated summa cum laude.

Peter Chung
Mr. Chung is a Managing Director and member of the flagship fund Investment Committee. His primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin in 2008, he worked at Banc of America Securities where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and other strategic advisory initiatives. Prior thereto, Mr. Chung worked at SG Cowen. He earned a B.S. in Engineering Management Systems from Columbia University.

Jan-Olivier Fillols
Mr. Fillols is a Managing Director and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at 3i Group where he focused on private equity investments across a broad range of sectors and geographies. Prior thereto, he worked as an investment banker at Jefferies where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions and public market transactions. Before his career in finance, Mr. Fillols held software development positions at diagnostics company Roche and telecoms provider Ascom. He earned a M.Sc. in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics and a M.Sc. in Communication Systems from the Swiss Institute of Technology (EPFL).

Nathan Pingelton
Mr. Pingelton is a Managing Director and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio monitoring. Before joining Marlin’s investment team, he served as a Director of Financial Due Diligence within Marlin’s Operations Group. Prior thereto, Mr. Pingelton worked at KPMG in the Transaction Services Practice and Assurance Practice. During that time, he advised clients on transactions in a broad spectrum of industries including basic materials, healthcare and consumer goods. He earned a B.B.A. and Masters of Accountancy from the University of Oklahoma.

Ryan Wald
Mr. Wald is a Managing Director and member of the Heritage fund Investment Committee. His primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio monitoring. He has been a private equity investor since 1999, and prior to joining Marlin, Mr. Wald was an Investment Committee member and Managing Director responsible for leading the Technology, Media & Telecom vertical at The Gores Group. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors for numerous highly successful businesses, including Alpheus Communications, Diagnostic Health, Elo Touch Solutions, Enterasys Networks, Global Tel*Link, Harris Broadcast, Lineage Power, Real Software, Stock Building Supply, VincoTech and Wire One. Prior thereto, he was an investment banker at CIBC Oppenheimer focused on mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Wald earned a B.B.A. in Finance from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.

Ryan Laurin
Mr. Laurin is a Managing Director and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal origination and qualification. Prior to joining Marlin in 2007, he worked at Harvey & Company, an Orange County-based merchant bank. While at Harvey, Mr. Laurin originated and evaluated investment opportunities for middle-market private equity funds and strategic buyers. He earned a B.A. in International Studies from the University of California, Irvine where he graduated cum laude.

Doug Bayerd
Mr. Bayerd is a Principal and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin, he focused on the software and services verticals at Golden Gate Capital and was engaged in the execution of a range of investments covering growth equity, corporate divestitures, operational restructurings and management buyouts. Prior thereto, Mr. Bayerd worked in the private equity group at Oaktree Capital Management, a Los Angeles based investment management firm. He earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Florian Hofmann
Mr. Hofmann is a Principal and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Rhône Capital where he focused on identifying and executing investments, including carve-outs, leveraged buyouts, add-on acquisitions, recapitalizations and exits across a broad range of sectors and geographies. Prior thereto, Mr. Hofmann was an investment professional at Morgan Stanley Capital Partners, a middle-market focused private equity fund. He began his career as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley based in London in the Media & Telecom Group, and at Raiffeisen Investment, a mergers and acquisitions boutique. He earned a M.Sc. in Finance and Business Administration from the Vienna University of Economics and Business.

Matt Johnson
Mr. Johnson is a Principal and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and support and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Vista Equity Partners, a private equity firm focused on software and technology enabled businesses, where he specialized in domestic and international leveraged buyouts, corporate divestitures, add-on acquisitions and portfolio company operations. Prior thereto, Mr. Johnson worked at Barclays Capital, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, corporate divestitures, public and private equity financings, and other strategic advisory initiatives. Mr. Johnson earned a B.S. in Finance from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.

Nicholas Lukens
Mr. Lukens is a Principal and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Vector Capital where he specialized in management buyouts, take-private transactions, corporate divestitures and operational restructurings across the application, infrastructure, industrial and consumer technology sectors. Prior thereto, Mr. Lukens worked at Merrill Lynch in the technology investment banking group, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and other strategic advisory initiatives. Mr. Lukens earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Georgetown University.

Hemal Patel
Mr. Patel is a Principal and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and support and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Parthenon Capital Partners where he focused on identifying and executing investments across the software, business services and financial services verticals and supporting existing portfolio investments. Prior thereto, Mr. Patel worked at Deutsche Bank Securities in the Technology Investment Banking Group, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings and other strategic advisory initiatives. Mr. Patel earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the John Cook School of Business at Saint Louis University.

Roland Pezzutto
Mr. Pezzutto’s is a Principal and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Investcorp where he focused on private equity investments, including carve-outs, leveraged buyouts, add-on acquisitions and exits across a broad range of sectors and geographies. Prior thereto, Mr. Pezzutto worked as an investment banker at Deutsche Bank where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions and public market transactions. He earned an M.Sc. in International Business from HEC School of Management in Paris, France and a B.A. in Law from Università Cattolica in Milan, Italy.

Grant Schachter
Mr. Schachter is a Principal and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and support and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin in 2010, he worked at Houlihan Lokey where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings and other strategic advisory initiatives. Mr. Schachter earned a B.B.A in Finance and Accounting from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.

Mike Wilkinson
Mr. Wilkinson is a Principal and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and support and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Deloitte in the Transaction Services department, where he specialized in providing financial due diligence to private equity and corporate clients. Evan Smith
Mr. Smith is a Principal and his primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal origination and qualification. Prior to joining Marlin in 2010, he worked at Harvey & Company, an Orange County-based merchant bank. While at Harvey, Mr. Smith originated and evaluated investment opportunities for middle-market private equity funds and strategic buyers. Ms. Banks earned a B.B.A. in Finance from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.

Christopher Clasper
Mr. Clasper’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support, transaction execution and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Terra Firma Capital Partners and Deloitte’s Management Consultancy business in London. Mr. Clasper earned a B.S. in History from Oxford University, where he graduated with First Class Honors.

Bill Hurley

Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Great Hill Partners where he focused on originating, evaluating and managing investments across the software, business services and financial technology verticals, and supporting existing portfolio investments. Cody Kase

Prior to joining Marlin in 2008, he was a student at the University of New Mexico where he earned a B.A. in Business Administration with honors. While at the University of New Mexico, Mr. Kase was a two time Academic-All American and team captain of the football team.

Peter Kimmey

Dan Spradling

Max Bissegger
Mr. Bissegger’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal origination and qualification. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Raytheon Company as a member of Raytheon’s Leadership Development Program where he specialized in program execution, financial planning and analysis, and internal audit. Mr. Bissegger earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

Daniel Cole
Mr. Cole’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal origination and qualification. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Platinum Equity, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm, as a member of the firm’s business development group based out of London. While at Platinum, Mr. Cole originated and evaluated middle-market investment opportunities throughout Europe. Prior thereto he attended Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and served as an officer in the British Army. Mr. Cole earned an M.A. in Architectural History from the University of Edinburgh.

Wolfgang Mayrhofer
Mr. Mayrhofer’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal origination and qualification. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Skillcapital where he focused on deal origination, transaction advisory and executive search for global large-cap private equity firms. Prior thereto, Mr. Mayrhofer worked at IMAP, International M&A Partners, and at Heidrick & Struggles. Mr. Mayrhofer earned an M.B.A from Vienna University of Technology and an M.A. in International Economics from Claude-Bernard University Lyon and the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein.

Richard Donahue
Mr. Donahue’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support, transaction execution and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Morgan Stanley in both the Financial Sponsors and Western Region Coverage groups where he specialized in leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic advisory initiatives. Mr. Donahue earned a B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he graduated magna cum laude.

George Doran
Mr. Doran’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support, transaction execution and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at McKinsey & Company where he focused on using advanced analytics to improve operational performance in companies across a range of industries, including financial services, transportation, travel and logistics, and healthcare. Mr. Doran earned an A.B. in Physics from Harvard University.

Marlo Goldstein
Ms. Goldstein’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support, transaction execution and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, she worked at Bain & Company as a management consultant. Ms. Goldstein earned an M.B.A from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Systems Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Joe Hara
Mr. Hara’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support, transaction execution and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at William Blair & Company where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and other strategic advisory initiatives across the healthcare technology and healthcare services industries. Mr. Hara earned a B.S. in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Accounting from Indiana University, where he graduated with the highest distinction.

Walter Mair
Mr. Mair’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support, transaction execution and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Boston Consulting Group where he worked in the private equity and corporate development groups, and specialized in commercial buy and sell-side due diligence and portfolio projects across a number of industries including consumer, insurance, banking, industrial goods and Technology, Media & Telecom. Mr. Mair earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Cambridge and Master’s degrees in Public Policy at the London School of Economics and the University of Chicago, where he was a Fulbright Scholar.

Kieran Rafter
Mr. Rafter’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support, transaction execution and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Barclays in the investment banking division where he focused on mergers and acquisitions across a range of sectors, including technology, industrials, financial services and infrastructure. Before his career in finance, Mr. Rafter worked as a corporate lawyer at Addleshaw Goddard LLP where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and debt finance transactions. He earned a B.A. in Politics from The University of Nottingham and has completed postgraduate programs at BPP University Law School in London.

Greg Ruffini
Mr. Ruffini’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support, transaction execution and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at William Blair & Company where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and other strategic advisory initiatives across the healthcare sector. Mr. Ruffini earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Indiana University.

Doug Swift
Mr. Swift’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support, transaction execution and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at J.P. Morgan Cazenove in the U.K., focusing on mergers and acquisitions execution across a range of sectors including technology, financial services and retail, and prior thereto as a member of J.P. Morgan’s mergers and acquisitions execution team in New York. Mr. Swift earned a B.A. in Economics and European History from the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated magna cum laude.

Victor Yang
Mr. Yang’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support, transaction execution and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Lazard Freres & Co. where he specialized in leveraged buyouts and mergers and acquisitions across a range of sectors, including aerospace and defense, consumer retail and business services. Mr. Yang earned a B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Bryan Yasukochi
Mr. Yasukochi’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support, transaction execution and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Credit Suisse where he focused on the execution of debt and equity transactions for companies across a broad range of industries. Mr. Yasukochi earned a B.S. in Economics with concentrations in Finance and Accounting from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Blake Zhang
Mr. Zhang’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support, transaction execution and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Qatalyst Partners where he specialized in technology mergers and acquisitions and other strategic advisory initiatives. Previously, he was at Paine Schwartz Partners where he focused on evaluating and executing private equity investments and, prior thereto, worked in the investment banking division of Deutsche Bank. Mr. Zhang earned a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University.

Alex Barrett

Sungmin Cho

Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he specialized in leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic advisory initiatives across the technology sector. Samay Dhawan
Mr. Dhawan’s primarily responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Centerview Partners where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions and other strategic advisory assignments across the technology sector, with an emphasis on the software and semiconductor verticals. Prior thereto, he worked at RBC Capital Markets in the Technology group, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, and debt and equity financings. Mr. Dhawan earned a B.A. in Computer Science and Mathematical Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Anastasiya Elfimova
Ms. Elfimova’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal origination and qualification. Prior to joining Marlin, she worked at TA Associates in London where she was involved in origination and execution of growth equity deals in software and other sectors across Europe. Prior thereto, Ms. Elfimova worked as an analyst at Morgan Stanley based in London in the Media & Telecom Group. Ms. Elfimova earned a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Philippe Fauquex
Mr. Fauquex’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support and conducting due diligence. Mr. Fauquex earned an M.Sc. in International Finance with honors from HEC Paris, and a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen.

Jess Foster
Mr. Foster’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at UBS Investment Bank in the Technology, Media & Telecom Group where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and other strategic advisory initiatives. Previously, Mr. Foster worked at GrowthPoint Technology Partners where he focused on mergers and acquisitions in the technology sector. Mr. Foster earned a B.S. in Finance from Brigham Young University.

Paul Gaillard
Mr. Gaillard’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at GP Bullhound in London and Hong Kong, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions and equity financings across the technology sector. Prior thereto he worked at J.P. Morgan where he focused on mergers and acquisitions in the Technology, Media & Telecom sector. Mr. Gaillard earned a M.Sc. in International Finance from HEC Paris and a M.Sc. in Engineering from INSA Lyon.

Preston Hedrick
Mr. Hedrick’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Lazard Freres & Co. in the investment banking division where he specialized in restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic advisory initiatives. Mr. Hedrick’s earned an A.B. in Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology with a minor in Economics from Harvard University.

Cole Jaczko
Mr. Jaczko’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Lazard Freres & Co. where he focused on leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions and other strategic advisory initiatives across a variety of industries, including aerospace and defense, gaming and consumer retail. Mr. Jaczko earned a B.S. in Business Administration with honors from the University of Southern California.

Monica Kozy
Ms. Kozy’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal origination and qualification. Prior to joining Marlin, she worked at Delta-v Capital where she managed the firm’s investment sourcing, investor relations and marketing. Prior thereto, Ms. Kozy worked at HSBC where she helped build out the Global Solutions Group and was responsible for originating event financing opportunities and identifying direct investments for HSBC’s Private Client portfolio. Ms. Kozy earned a B.A. in Finance and Entrepreneurship Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Aaron Lewis
Mr. Lewis’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Harvest Partners where he focused on identifying and executing investments across the healthcare, business services, industrial services and consumer sectors. Prior thereto, he worked at PJT Partners (formerly The Blackstone Group) where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions and other strategic advisory services. Mr. Lewis earned his M.B.A. and B.S. in Business Administration with concentrations in Financial Analysis, Accounting and International Business from Indiana University.

Vladimir Malugin
Mr. Malugin’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors where he focused on investments in software and technology-enabled businesses. Mr. Malugin earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Utah.

Michael Muscheid
Mr. Muscheid’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Jefferies & Company where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, debt financings and other strategic advisory initiatives across the technology sector. Mr. Muscheid earned a B.S. in Economics and Finance from Arizona State University.

Ranieri Paternò
Mr. Paternò’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at RBC Capital Markets in the Consumer Group where he focused on sponsor-related transactions including leveraged buyouts and debt financings across a variety of verticals. Mr. Paternò earned an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a B.S. in Mathematics and Economics from Exeter University.

Drew Tuttle
Mr. Tuttle’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include transaction support and conducting due diligence. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at MTS Health Partners where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions and equity financings across the life sciences, healthcare services and healthcare information technology sectors. Mr. Tuttle earned a B.S. in Systems Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Kail Walker
Mr. Walker’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal origination and qualification. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Bainbridge Capital Advisory, a San Diego-based boutique investment bank. While at Bainbridge, Mr. Walker originated and evaluated investment opportunities for middle-market private equity funds and strategic buyers. He earned a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.

Salman Bari
Mr. Bari’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include database reporting and analysis related to deal origination and qualification. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at AdvicePeriod where he focused on partnering with advisors to identify and present investment solutions to high net worth clients. Prior thereto, he worked at Harvey & Company where he helped originate and evaluate investment opportunities for middle-market private equity funds and their respective portfolio companies across several industry verticals. Mr. Bari earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside.

Barbara Luzzatto
Ms. Luzzatto is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Marlin. Her primary responsibilities include overseeing the financial, regulatory compliance and administrative functions of the Marlin funds and related entities.
Ms. Luzzatto has over 25 years of experience in finance, accounting, tax, operations, human resources, risk management and FINRA and SEC regulatory compliance. Prior to joining Marlin, she was with Saybrook Capital, LLC, a special situations focused middle-market private equity firm, where she served as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer for over 7 years. Ms. Luzzatto earned her B.S. in Business Administration/Accounting from the University of Missouri, Columbia. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).

Sang-IL Park
Mr. Park’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include investor relations support, limited partner communications, institutional fundraising and marketing activities for the firm. Prior to joining Marlin, Mr. Park was at Northrop Grumman where he was a Director of Corporate Investments for the Investments and Trust Department, which managed over $36 billion in assets. Mr. Park was primarily responsible for overseeing the alternative investments program which included developing semi-annual strategic and tactical plans, conducting due diligence, managing fund commitments and representing Northrop on advisory boards. While at Northrop, Mr. Park led or co-led aggregate commitments totaling $5 billion across 80 private equity, real estate and infrastructure partnerships. He previously was an Associate Director for WestLB Asset Management (USA), LLC. Mr. Park earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley with a minor in Business Administration and is a member of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association®.
